Speed up your REACH Information Request Processes

The new iPoint Compliance Agent (iPCA) REACH Letter module supports you especially in fulfilling the legal requirements of the European chemicals regulation REACH, Article 33, by the click of a mouse.

Article 33 contains a ‘right to know’ provision, where consumers can ask manufacturers if their product contains any Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) and how to use the product safely.

Once an end consumer has sent an information request, suppliers have a legal obligation to provide the information within 45 days and free of charge.

For this reason several smartphone apps now make it easy for consumers to request information about SVHCs and safe use by simply scanning a product’s barcode. As aresult this new option has significantly increased the number of such product information requests for companies.
