  • Together with your team members you are responsible for a product and take care of a clean IT architecture, highest software quality as well as the tracking of requirements.

Your tasks as PL/SQL Developer:

  • Content and technical development and enhancement of our software products of the product line iPoint Compliance Agent
  • Maintenance and technical support for our solutions
  • Search for innovation and improvements for our products and processes
  • Supporting the implementation of the test strategy and test automation
  • Documentation of solutions, work results and database structures

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science or comparable training
  • Knowledge in the administration of Oracle databases and the ability to set up Oracle database instances yourself
  • Conversion of technical requirements into a technical design
  • Distinct quality awareness
  • Ability to work independently, but also to develop solutions as part of a team
  • Teamwork and communication skills as well as the ability to support your colleagues with your expertise
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken

What we expect from you:

  • Several years of experience in programming object-oriented applications in PL/SQL and confident handling of object-oriented methodology (analysis, design, programming)
  • Handling of hierarchical queries, parallelization of DB objects and applications
  • Experience with Oracle versions 11, 12
  • Advanced knowledge in performance tuning of SQL statements and PL/SQL applications
  • Experience in creating indexes (combined, function-based)
  • Experience with data modeling, partitioning of DB objects and handling of mass data using PL/SQL and Materialized Views

Desirable but not a must:

  • Experience with SCRUM agile methods and tools
  • Jira, Confluence
  • Java programming, use of XML, Eclipse IDE, TOAD
  • Code versioning with GIT
  • Flyway database migration tool
  • Oracle Cloud
  • Experience with other DBMS like Microsoft SQL-Server
  • Test and test automation, execution of performance and load tests
  • Dealing with distributed databases, replication mechanisms and database links
  • Knowledge in dealing with Oracle Virtual Private Database and Row Level Security
