As the Scaled Acquisition Lead at iPoint, you will be critical in taking our commercial efforts to the next level. Sitting between Marketing and Enterprise Sales, the Scaled Acquisition Team combines the best of scale and automation with personalized, customer-by-customer engagement and selling.
This is a player-coach position where you'll both do the work and coach the work to others. You will lead and expand a team of BDRs, guiding them to success along the way. For deals up to a certain size, your team will drive all the way to closed won; for larger deals you will qualify before passing the deal to our Enterprise Sales team.

Your profile

  • Emerging Leader: You have 2+ years of experience leading a BDR or Inside Sales team. Your team members love working for you, and you help bring out their best performance.
  • Customer-Obsessed: You love speaking with customers and are passionate about selling to them, thriving in a hands-on role where you can directly impact results.
  • Builder: In the absence of defined processes, you roll up your sleeves, create a structure and quickly implement it so you and the team can move forward and get things done.
  • Effective Communicator: Your written and verbal communication skills are top notch, helping you capture the attention of and build relationships with even senior prospects.
  • Results-Driven: You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding your quota (either pipe creation or deal closing) in your past roles. You want to win. 

Your mission

    • Leadership and Development: Hire, onboard, and manage a high-performing team of Business Development Reps, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and success.
    • Prospecting and Qualification: Lead by example in both outbound prospecting into new target accounts and qualification and progression of inbound Marketing leads.
    • Hands-On Sales: Once qualified (if not passed on to Enterprise Sales) drive the deals to closed won, and support your team members in doing the same.
    • Sales Management: Monitor prospects and pipeline; coach team members on their deals and help them prioritize their efforts and drive deals forward with maximum effectiveness.
    • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze team performance. Design and implement strategies to optimize both activities and results.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with your peers in Marketing and Enterprise Sales to ensure smooth-running campaigns, seamless lead transitions and effective deal management.
