Douglas Hileman – President Douglas Hileman Consulting LLC
Douglas Hileman has over 35 years of experience in compliance, management consulting, auditing, and operations. He conducted one of the four IPSAs submitted to the SEC for the 2013 reporting year, and another for 2014. Douglas supports clients in an advisory role on conflict minerals program development, assessment, and management. Focus areas have included business processes; audit readiness; customer-facing initiatives; training; and reporting and communications. He has published conflict minerals thought leadership – including on IPSAs– since commenting on the draft SEC rule. Douglas worked six years at a Big 4 firm, supporting ~100 financial audit procedures. He developed the website www.DFCMAudit.com. He is on the board of the Los Angeles chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, and is on the IIA’s [global] Professional Issues Committee. Douglas Hileman holds CRMA, CPEA, P.E. and QEP credentials. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Cleveland State University.

Jared's role at iPoint includes product development, Conflict Minerals consulting workshops, and working with clients to find the right solution to meet their regulatory needs. He joined iPoint in 2014 coming from Intel where he worked on a range of material compliance and sustainability-related topics, including RoHS, REACH, social responsibility, green sustainability goals, and Conflict Minerals. Jared spent 4 years developing a RoHS/REACH system at Intel and more recently has been deeply involved with Conflict Minerals. Since 2010 he’s focused on all aspects of the program in key functions – for example, as a key contributor to Intel’s milestone achievement of the world’s first validated conflict free microprocessor, or as the EICC key developer of the CMRT, including smelter validation with visits to more than 30 smelters worldwide, contributions to writing the audit protocols and auditor training, and working with several external stakeholders (banks, traders, US state department, foreign governments) to bring awareness to CFSI and promote supply chain transparency. Jared is very proud to work in this field and as a father he hopes to leave the world better than he found it.
