New iPCMP training services with AIAG

We are pleased to announce that iPoint, in conjunction with the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), now provides classroom training in Southfield, MI, on the iPoint Conflict Mineral Platform (iPCMP), one of the automotive industry’s preferred reporting tools. This instructor-led course is designed to ensure users of the system are familiar with all aspects of receiving and submitting data related to ongoing customer requests to comply with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Dodd- Frank, Section 1502, Conflict Minerals Rule.

An introduction to current reporting trends and industry best practices will lead into a hands-on, real-time training in the platform. The training will include creating the right user roles, uploading data, and automated options, such as red flags. Attendees will learn different strategies for sending data requests, responding to data requests, and managing data responses in multiple forms. The training will focus on how to create different level reports, and analyzing accumulated data and key performance indicators (KPIs). A question and answer period concludes the day.

Attendees are required to bring their own laptops, with Wi-Fi access, to this training session (unfortunately, extra laptops will not be available). Attendees should also have an IPCMP account set up prior to joining the class. If you do not already have an account, please go to www.conflict-minerals.com, click on "iPCMP Sign-up", select a license type and fill out the informational fields.

For further information and registration, visit the iPCMP training page on the AIAG website.
