Clean Water, Climate Action, and Quality Education

In connection with iPoint’s annual flagship event fw:transparency, the company has decided to support two charitable organizations: “The Water Project” and “Plant For The Planet”. The projects were selected because they support the implementation of certain Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Water Project

The Water Project is a non-profit organization that provides access to clean, safe, and reliable water and sanitation solutions across sub-Saharan Africa. For ten years, the Water Project has been helping communities gain access to clean, safe water by providing training, expertise, and financial support for water project construction through their staff and implementing partners. The Water Project believes in local in-country solutions and aims to end the water crisis one local partnership at a time.

To help end water crisis, iPoint has donated 10 percent of the proceeds from the fw:transparency event to The Water Project. With this donation, iPoint can also support the implementation of SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation).

Plant For The Planet

Plant For The Planet is an initiative which aims to raise awareness of climate change and actively combat it through tree-planting campaigns. The project, which started 2006 as a school presentation, now has many prominent supporters.

iPoint gladly supports this good cause and has gifted each of our speakers at the fw:transparency-event a voucher of 20 trees, thereby contributing 520 trees in total to the Plant For The Planet project. With our donation, we are able to back this great climate cause and advance SDG #4 (Quality Education) and SDG #13 (Climate Action).
