Final conference “Resource-efficient Circular Economy – Innovative Product Cycles“ (ReziProK)

iPoint on site as project member

On June 23 and 24, iPoint will participate in the final conference of the funding measure “Resource Efficient Circular Economy - Innovative Product Cycles (ReziProK)” of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in Berlin. At this free event, the 25 projects of the funding measure ReziProK will present their results after approx. three years of project duration. The research projects developed business models, design concepts, and digital technologies to close product cycles and thus contribute to the implementation of a resource-efficient circular economy.

This includes the DIBICHAIN project, in which iPoint, in cooperation with industrial partners, is researching how blockchain technology can be applied to the circular economy. We are pleased to announce that our iPoint colleague Frauke Haenel will be on site in Berlin as part of the DIBICHAIN project team to answer your questions.

Further information about ReziProK and registration for the event can be found here.

About DIBICHAIN

DIBICHAIN is a research project that aims to map material and product life cycles using distributed ledger technology (DLT) to facilitate circular economy. While DLTs are usually known to provide full transparency between its actors, this project considers the concerns of companies exposing their full identity on the ledger. Together with four industry partners – Capgemini, Blockchain Research Lab gGmbH, CHAINSTEP GmbH, and Airbus Aircraft – iPoint demonstrates with this project how DLT-infrastructure can be implemented to promote circular economy and ecological product development by enhancing coopetition and transparency while maintaining confidentiality where needed.
