Global Goals Forum 2019

Meet iPoint on October 10th at the Global Goals Forum 2019 in Berlin, Germany. Organized by the German Global Compact Network DCGN and the Macondo foundation, the first Berlin-based forum of this kind will focus on the topic “2030 Agenda – are we running out of time?” Dealing with the topics of tackling inequity, climate change, and corporate responsibility, the conference aims to identify key drivers for the successful implementation of the SDGs with the participation of business by 2030.

The Global Goals Forum includes a welcome message by UN Secretary-General António Guterres as well as inspiring keynotes, high-level panel discussions, and input from several decision-makers from politics, business, and civil society. Also, there will be six parallel workshops which will complement the themes and ideas of the Global Goals Forum 2019, dealing with various aspects of sustainable growth like supply chain management, mandatory and voluntary approaches to CSR, water stewardship, anti-corruption measures, as well as science and the SDGs.

We’re excited that iPoint’s Head of Corporate Communications & Sustainability, Dr. Katie Boehme, and Gunther Walden, CEO of CircularTree (Member of iPoint Group), will be joining the event to represent iPoint.
