CircularTree (Member of iPoint Group) is participating in the HACKDAY@SIS19, an acceleration program for five international start-ups and ventures working in the field of supply chain transparency driving a more sustainable future. The Social Innovation Summit 2019 (SIS19) is organized by the network Social Entrepreneurship BW. During this one-day Hackathon, selected ventures are working on their predefined challenges with tech and business development experts from Dell Technologies, SAP, and Volkswagen Group, as well as high-skilled students.
We are proud to announce that CircularTree is one of the five selected ventures. The start-up synchronizes supply chain compliance management through Blockchain technology, making it simpler and safer for organizations to tackle their responsibilities along the supply chain. At HACKDAY@SIS19, CircularTree, represented by Gunther Walden, CEO of CircularTree, and Marjan Stankovic, Software Architect at iPoint-systems, got the exceptional opportunity to work on the challenge of how to provide a CO2 footprint to every product, from a technical and business perspective. As climate change is one of the major challenges today’s industry must deal with, CircularTree wants to take urgent action to combat the crisis and its impacts by sustainable innovations.
