For several years, iPoint has been supporting the electricial and electronics industry with unique know-how, services, and solutions for product compliance and supply chain management. In 2014, IPC awarded three iPoint employees for their outstanding contributions to the Conflict Minerals Task Group that developed IPC-1755, a standard for exchanging Conflict Minerals data (read more). The IPC membership enables iPoint to expand and intensify its cooperation with manufacturers of electrical and electronic products.
The IPC was founded in 1957 in the U.S. as the Institute of Printed Circuits. Today, over 3,600 companies from all branches of the electronics industry are members of the IPC. The association is the leading source for industry standards, training, market research, and public policy advocacy of an estimated $2 trillion global electronics industry.
