We are proud to announce that iPoint was named the winner of the Bronze Stevie® Award. We received this award in for our “fw:transparency” event 2019 in the Corporate & Community – B2B Event category of The 17th Annual International Business Awards®.
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. The 2020 IBAs received entries from organizations in 63 nations and territories. As the ongoing COVID-19 crisis will prevent winners from receiving their awards on stage during a traditional gala IBA banquet, winners will be celebrated instead during a virtual ceremony on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
More than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. With our event “fw:transparency”, iPoint won in the Corporate & Community – B2B Event category as representative of the computer software industry with up to 2,500 employees.
Our two-day “fw:transparency” event on June 26 and 27, 2019, brought together three established iPoint events to one major sustainable B2B event, focusing on the overarching topic of transparency, i.e. the importance of transparency for the compliance and sustainability of products and processes. The goal was to have one platform to build and reinforce business relationships by highlighting iPoint’s thought leadership and leading Digital Circular Economy solutions for environmental and social product compliance, and sustainability. 200 participants followed our invitation and enjoyed a varied program that offered presentations, panel discussions, and World Cafés by and with representatives from business, science, and law, as well as networking and discussion opportunities.
The jury of the 17th International Business Awards® appreciated the choice of the venue – the Stadthalle Reutlingen – the first and only city hall in Germany to hold completely CO2-neutral events. They praised iPoint’s B2B event as “informative, educational and thought provoking for a global audience” with “exceptional” presentation content and delivery. The event was recognized as “a tremendous opportunity for B2B, B2I (business to investor or innovator) ‘matchmaking’ or networking.” We are particularly thrilled about the jury’s closing words: “This company depicts futuristic solution.”
Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 250 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from July through early September.
