Out of the strategic collaboration with Newport Consulting Group, the White Paper 'Meeting the Automotive Challenge of Creating Sustainability in a Complex Supply Chain Environment' has been developed.
It addresses the current challenges of the automotive industry, to fulfill the different international environmental- and sustainability regulations. Furhtermore, the changed consumer behavior in the direction of “greener products” is considered and obviously relevant in vehicle decisions. Innovative solution concepts are collecting the data in a very detailed and early stage and consider visibility of the total supply chain.
Environmental compliance is a precondition for sustainable products. Sustainability on the other hand integrates ecological, economic and social principles – or, to keep it with the slogan: “Sustainability is an integration task”.
