What is the IPC-1752A Standard?

The Material Declaration Management standard, known as the IPC-1752A standard, was developed by the IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries (IPC) and allows companies in the supply chain to share information on materials in products. The IPC-1752A standard is a reporting format for material declaration data to exchange data on materials in products between supply chain participants. The standard supports reporting of bulk materials, components, printed circuit boards, sub-assemblies and products.

IPC-175x family of standards establishes a standard reporting format for data exchange between supply chain participants. This series of standards is XML-schema based, which allows for more efficient and effective communication of data.
