What’s New in EMRT 1.3?
The Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT), developed by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), enables companies to disclose cobalt and mica sourcing in their supply chains. The latest version, EMRT 1.3, was released in April 2024, replacing EMRT 1.2.
Key updates in EMRT 1.3 (released April 26, 2024) include:
- Bug fixes and error corrections
- Updates to the Smelter Reference List and Standard Smelter List
- Improvements to highlighting on Smelter List tabs
The next version of EMRT is expected in Spring 2025.
