14th Akademie Fresenius User Forum on current chemical legislation

Eva Hink-Lemke and Angelika Steinbrecher support again as speakers

On 19 and 20 October 2023, the 14th user forum on current chemical legislation  of Akademie Fresenius will take place in Düsseldorf. The user meeting for substance manufacturers, downstream users and importers will again offer exciting topics. Among them:

  • Challenge EU-REACH
  • Sustainability initiatives of the EU
  • Polymers under REACH: case studies, registration, grouping
  • Hazard analysis for life cycle assessment
  • and many more!

Participants will benefit from practical information, which will be clearly presented to them, as well as from a valuable exchange of experience with professional colleagues and impulses for the safe design of their processes.

We are particularly excited that our colleagues Eva Hink-Lemke and Angelika Steinbrecher will each give a lecture on the second day of the event. First, Eva reports on Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), their definition, developments over the last years, and current and future obligations related to these substances.

Immediately afterwards, Angelika will talk about the framework conditions, initiatives, and challenges in calculating carbon footprints in the chemical industry.

We are very excited about the presentations of our colleagues and are looking forward to further impressions!
