The Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) has announced the release of the Additional Minerals Reporting Template (AMRT) version 1.2 , set for launch on October 4, 2024. This updated version marks the transition of the previously known Pilot Reporting Template (PRT) to the AMRT, reflecting its broader adoption and maturity. The key update in AMRT 1.2 is the addition of German language support, improving accessibility for a wider, international audience.
The AMRT is designed to support companies in documenting and managing supply chain data for minerals beyond those typically covered by other reporting templates. It plays a critical role in ensuring greater transparency, responsible sourcing, and compliance with evolving reporting requirements, including those outlined in the EU Battery Regulation. The RMI will also offer guidance and training materials to help organizations successfully implement the new version.
