The Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) has launched version 1.1 of the Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT), replacing the previous CRT 2.2 template. This new release focuses on collecting due diligence information from the cobalt and mica supply chains, offering a streamlined approach by enabling companies to report both cobalt and mica suppliers in a single template.
Key updates in EMRT 1.1 include revisions to the Smelter Look-up List, Standard Smelter List, and improved translations. Additionally, corrections have been made to the "Declaration," "Checker," and "Smelter List" tabs to enhance accuracy and usability. This release is part of RMI’s ongoing effort to support transparent and responsible sourcing practices for companies in industries using these minerals.
