New Release: CMRT 6.22 - Brings Minor Updates to Conflict Minerals Reporting

The Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) has officially launched version 6.22 of the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT). This update, a refinement of version 6.2, includes minor improvements to the Product List tab within the template, ensuring better functionality and usability for users.

Key Updates in CMRT 6.22:

  • Product List Tab Enhancements: Adjustments to the Excel form improve the clarity and efficiency of reporting.
  • Smelter Updates: Continued revisions to the smelters' list and their identification (CID) reflect changes in the sector.

When to Use CMRT 6.22:

Companies using tin, tantalum, tungsten, or gold (3TG) in their products are encouraged to adopt CMRT 6.22 for supply chain audits. While editions 6.01 and later remain valid, RMI emphasizes transitioning to the latest version for optimal compliance and reporting accuracy.
