The 26th oikos conference takes place on November 13th and 14th at the University of St. Gallen. This year, the international conference attends to the topic “Supply Chain Sustainability”, focusing on the food and textile sectors in particular.
After the introductory speech by Thomas Pletscher, Global Compact Network, ICC Switzerland, economiesuisse, iPoint’s Project Manager Sustainability, Thomas Bley, will give a lecture on the topic „Information Management in supply chains – the SustainHub project and possible benefits for the food and textile sector“. Subsequently, there are workshops from Chocolats Halba, ODLO, and Fairtrade International HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation.
Day 2 offers group presentations as well as a panel discussion from and with representatives from Unilever, BSD Consulting, the Bühler Group, the NGO Berne Declaration, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, and the University of St. Gallen.
