iPoint-systems is supporting its Japanese customers in product compliance and sustainability with a new training partner. Technology consulting firm JAPAN NUS Co., Ltd. (JANUS) will now offer training in the field of Conflict Minerals and iPoint Conflict Minerals Platform (iPCMP). iPoint thus strengthens its presence in Japan, the software specialist having opened a branch in Tokyo in 2013.
JANUS, founded in 1971, employs approximately 160 people. The Tokyo-based company is known across Japan as a consulting services provider for the fields of energy, environment, business and system technology. JANUS also offers its services to European companies. As an iPoint partner, JANUS will be a consulting and training institution focusing on the topic of Conflict Minerals and the web-based software solution iPoint Conflict Minerals Platform – which has more than 15,000 companies already registered as users. The iPoint solution enables manufacturing companies to collect, manage, aggregate, and report Conflict Minerals data along their supply chain and thus fulfill the requirements of customers and regulatory authorities.
"In Asia, the topics of sustainability and product compliance have high priority at many companies," says Joerg Walden, CEO of iPoint-systems. "Accordingly, demand is rising for tailored solutions and qualified contacts on site. We are pleased to have gained such a partner in JANUS."
